SEMINAR ; Pr Antoine SICARD "Epitope-specific depletion of memory B cells by cytotoxic HLA dimers for precision desensitization in transplantation"

Antoine Sicard, MD, PhD is Professor of Medicine at Université Côte d’Azur and Head of the Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation Department at Nice University Hospital. He leads a transplant immunology research team at UMR 7370 (LP2M, CNRS–Université Côte d’Azur). His research focuses on immune evasion strategies for autologous and allogeneic cell therapies, transplant desensitization, and mechanisms that may improve graft resistance to ischemia–reperfusion injury. In this seminar, he will discuss an experimental approach to selectively depleting anti-HLA memory B cells for transplant desensitization.
