Dr Jérémie DECOUCHANT, TU Delft, The Netherlands Titre : “A bottom-up approach for privacy-preserving genomics”. Invité par le Dr Nicolas Vince

Dr Jérémie Decouchant I s an assistant professor at TU Delft and the Delft Blockchain Lab in the Netherlands. His research works aim at designing resilient distributed systems, in particular when tensions with privacy, accountability, or safety constraints arise. His research has found applications in fields such as Blockchain, genomics, or peer-to-peer systems. Before joining TU Delft, he was a research scientist at the SnT/FSTM - University of Luxembourg. He received his Ph.D. degree from Grenoble Alpes University and his M.Sc. degree from Ensimag - Grenoble INP, Grenoble, France.

His works on genomic data privacy aim at protecting genomic data throughout their acquisition and processing. He has designed methods to accurately and efficiently detect genomic variations in sequenced data, which is then leveraged to protect this sensitive information during the alignment process. His more recent works have focused on designing methods for dynamic and interdependent privacy-preserving Genome Wide Analysis Studies.
